What an eventful Friday night?!
As many of you may be aware here at Happy Home we had our Annual Christmas Party and Lady of the Year award cermony last Friday.
With lots of preparations in the run up to the party we managed to pull off a wonderful evening with only a few hiccups on the way. These hiccups included guest arriving early whilst we were running around like headless chickens preparing the room, a mishap with a bottle of red wine (I've checked the kitchen and luckily I didn't notice any stains) and worries about not having enough food.
The theme to our party was for guests to bring something that reminded them of Christmas. Going by what they bought Christmas is about eating lots of good food and drinking lots of wine......Oh and celebrating and being with loved ones. Thank you to everyone who bought a bit of culture to the party.
It was one of our Ladies' birthday on Friday and she choose to spend the evening with us at the party. In way of thanks we gathered everyone together to sing Happy Birthday and present her with a birthday cake. Luckily we picked the right type of cake as she said carrot cake is her favourite. Happy Birthday Birute!
To end the evening off we had a little speech from Renata thanking our ladies and letting them all in on some office gossip. Once Renata had announced that Rebecca has a bun in the oven, she invited everyone to her baby shower planned for February. We then moved on to our 'Lady of the Year' award ceremony.
We would like to thank everyone who came along and helped make the night such a success. We look forward to seeing everyone again soon and wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
